My diary
4/5
We arrived in NZ in the afternoon. I was so sleepy because I
and Tenzing couldn’t sleep because of too much talking on the airplane. After
that, we took a group picture at the airport I met my host family at the entrance
of the hub in the afternoon. The host father and mother came to pick me up.
They are so big people and look so kind. The host house is divided into two floors,
the second and one. My room is on one floor. The second floor is always warm
because the host family uses it, but oppositely, one floor is always cold.
After arriving at the house, we went to the stadium to watch basketball. My
host family is a big fan of nuggets.

Today, I went to the supermarket with my host mother. It was
super fun! There were so many cool things to see. I saw colorful fruits and
veggies, and even some yummy snacks. I helped push the cart and picked out some
of my favorite cereals and cookies. The aisles were really big, and I felt like
I was exploring a treasure hunt! The cashier was nice and gave me a sticker at
the end. Going to the supermarket was like an adventure, and I can't wait to go
back again with my host family!

This day, I went to watch my host brother's soccer game. It
was so exciting! The field was huge, and the grass was so green. I cheered
really loud for my host brother and his team. They played really well and
scored some awesome goals! I even got to eat some yummy snacks from the snack
bar. After the game, I told my host brother he did great and gave him. Watching
his soccer game was super fun, and I can't wait to go again next time to cheer
him on!

This day for dinner, my host family and I had kebabs! It was
so yummy! The kebabs had juicy meat and colorful veggies all on a stick. My
host mother grilled them until they were perfect. I even helped by setting the
table and getting the plates ready. We ate outside in the backyard because it
was such a nice day. I took small bites so I could savor the delicious flavors.
After dinner, we had some ice cream for dessert. Eating kebabs with my family
was so much fun, and I hope we can have them again soon!

This day, I went for a walk with my dog! It was so much fun!
Her name is Dobby, and she's the best dog ever. We went to the park and chased
after squirrels together. Dobby loves sniffing all the different smells, and I
love watching her wag her tail with excitement. We walked around the
neighborhood, saying hi to all our neighbors along the way. Sometimes, Dobby
would stop to sniff a flower or a tree, and I'd wait patiently for him. Walking
with Dobbyy always makes me feel happy, and I can't wait to do it again
tomorrow!

On this day, as part of the school orientation, we went to
town and went to ANZ bank and the beach. At ANZ bank, we were taught how to
open an account and deposit money. It was very interesting to watch my friends
bickering while we waited. Then after that we went to the beach and played on
the sand. That's when I kicked my friend's 10,000 yen volleyball into the ocean
and played with it.
4/11
On this day, I played puzzles with my host family. It was
not an ordinary puzzle, but a 3D puzzle. It was very difficult because it was
different from ordinary puzzles and it changed my way of thinking, but it was
fun.
4/12
On this day, we went to a museum and looked around at
different things. There were many single objects, but the most interesting one
was about old-time drugs. I observed a lot because I had to give a presentation
about this time. It was a lot of fun.
4/13
I went to unipol and played volleyball. There I played with various locals. I am glad I played volleyball.
4/14
On this day, I forgot I had homework and played with the unipoles. Therefore, after returning from Unipol, I hurriedly started working on my presentation. The topic was the museum we visited the other day. I wrote about drug. It took me a long time. From now on, I decided to finish my homework early.
4/15
I went to Unipol again today and played volleyball. As usual I played with the locals. After all, locals are very strong and their spikes hurt. I made many volleyball friends.
4/16
I went to Unipole and played volleyball with a local! It was super fun! My new friends were really good at volleyball, but I'm still learning. We all played together and chased the ball everywhere! My local friend taught me some cool moves, and I tried my best to hit the ball back. In the end, our team won! We cheered really loud and high-fived each other. Playing volleyball with my new friend from another country was awesome! I can't wait to play again with them!
4/17
I went to the supermarket with my host mother. We bought lots of yummy things such as cookies, fruits, and juice. I helped push the cart and picked out some snacks too! There were so many aisles to explore, and I saw my favorite cereal on sale. Host mother said we needed milk, so we got a big jug of it. I also saw a toy section but didn't ask for anything this time. It was fun counting all the different kinds of candies they had! After paying, we carried our bags home. Supermarket trips are always exciting!
4/18
I played card games with my host family last night! It was super fun. We gathered around the table with snacks and drinks. I learned a new game called "Uno" and it was awesome! We laughed a lot and had a great time. My host sister was really good at it, but I managed to win a few rounds too! We also played "Go Fish" and "Old Maid." It was cool seeing everyone's different strategies. Even though I didn't win every game, I felt happy just spending time with my host family. I can't wait for our next game night!
4/19
That day, I played soccer with my host family! It was awesome! We went to a nearby park with a big field. We brought a soccer ball and some water bottles. My host dad taught us some cool tricks like dribbling and passing. I even scored a goal! Everyone cheered for me. We played for a long time until we were all sweaty and tired, but it was so much fun! Even my host mom joined in, and she's really good! Afterward, we had a picnic in the park. Playing soccer with my host family was the best day ever!
4/20
That day was a lazy day at home! I just lounged around, doing nothing much. I wore my comfiest pajamas and snuggled up with my favorite blanket on the couch. I watched cartoons and played some video games. Mom made us yummy snacks like popcorn and cookies. Sometimes my dog joined me, and we cuddled together. It was raining outside, so it felt extra cozy indoors. I didn't even bother changing out of my pajamas all day! It was nice to take a break and relax. Sometimes, chilling at home is the best way to spend the day!
4/21
That day, I went to the Unipole with my friends to play volleyball! It was super exciting! We set up the net and divided into teams. I love spiking the ball over the net! Sometimes I even managed to block shots too. We laughed a lot and cheered for each other. Even though I fell a couple of times, it was still tons of fun! The sun was shining, and the breeze felt refreshing. We played until it started getting dark. Afterward, we all went out for ice cream to celebrate our awesome game. Playing volleyball at Unipole was the best!
4/22
On this day I went to Unipole for strength training. Worked out my chest and legs. Muscle aches and pains all over. Muscle training is the best.
4/23
Today I was just hanging out at home. Watched a movie in English. It was so exciting.
